How do I change/edit existing call flows?

Surgery Connect is a live phone system. Supervisors can use X-flow to create and manage the information given, and the actions taken, through the call flow

You can make changes to suit your surgery as and when you need to, for example, if you need to add information into any of your prompt messages

To do this you will need to identify and load the call flow you want to edit

This guide will show you how to load an existing call flow through the Service Delivery Console and through X-flow

Step by step guide

Accessing X-flow

  1. Log in to Surgery Connect - sso.x-onweb.com - with your NHS email address and Surgery Connect password

  2. To manage or edit existing call flows, navigate to the X-flow Console

  3. Don't forget - if you are already logged into a Surgery Connect console, you can navigate to any other console quickly by using the Menu, next to your initials

  4. Or; Click on the arrow in your toolbar to see the hidden icons

Right click on the Surgery Connect Logo and select Launch Consoles. This will open up the selected console in a new window for you

Loading a call flow through X-flow

  2. At the top left hand corner click on the Load button

  3. A window will load, with a list of all of the call flows for your surgery. Select the call flow you want to edit and click Load

  4. Your call flow will now be loaded onto the X-flow Workspace

  7. Search by name, this can be the name of a user, group name or inbound number name

  8. Once you have found the correct number you can edit it through Options

  9. Your call flow will now be loaded onto the X-flow Workspace
