What is Surgery Intellect, powered by TORTUS?

Surgery Intellect, powered by TORTUS, is a voice-enabled AI assistant that uses ambient voice technology (AVT) to listen, transcribe and code consultations in real time via the Phonebar

It reduces the cognitive load for GPs and provides accurate, secure documentation. Once a clinician is happy with the summarised data, Surgery Intellect can file it into Surgery Connect for accurate, joined-up patient records

From face-to-face appointments to Voicemails and reception calls, Surgery Intellect captures and codes every Patient interaction so nothing is missed and no time is wasted

Patient-Led Intellect

Surgery Intellect offers a streamlined workflow that saves clinician's time by automatically associating patients with launched consultations - eliminating the need for manual association, enhancing efficiency

When the Phonebar is connect to your clinical system and a Patient is selected, Surgery Intellect pulls through their information ready for you to complete your consultation

Once the consultation is complete and the outputs have been generated, the content can then be saved directly to Surgery Connect for accurate, joined up patient care

Standalone Mode

Surgery Intellect can also be used in Standalone Mode, allowing you to generate consultations or dictations without attaching this to a patient. This can be used as a way to explore the feature, test your setup is ready for patient clinics, or to support other non-patient tasks
