Self Appointment Booking - Reporting

Accessing and understanding the Self Appointment Booking Report

Please note: This feature is currently available for EMIS customers only

The report for this feature is located in the Reports Portal, under Feature Reports

From here, you can filter the report to provide the statistics you require

Click on the date filter to choose from a pre-selected time period, or to create a custom date range

To filter the statistics to links sent by a specific User, click on the User filter

You can also filter by Slot Type (the appointment slots from your Clinical System)

And by Appointment Type (Telephone or Face-to-face appointments)

Message Summary

This section of the report provides a breakdown of the following figures:

  • Sent - the total number of Booking SMS sent over the defined period, and includes both individual and bulk links

  • Delivered - the number of Sent messages that were reported as delivered

  • Link Accessed - how many of the Sent messages resulted in the recipient clicking the booking link within the messages

  • Declined - how many patients declined the invitation (if applicable)

  • Validation Success - how many of the Sent messages resulted in the patient successfully validating their date of birth

  • Appointments Booked - the amount of Sent messages that resulted in the patient booking an appointment

The following figures are then displayed daily figures in the bar chart:

  • Sent

  • Link accessed

  • Appointment Booked

To export this data as a CSV file, click the Export button

Message Activity

The Message Activity section of this report provides a breakdown of all of the booking links sent within the specified time period, including both singular and bulk messages

this table provides figures on:

  • The Date and Time the message was sent

  • The amount of messages Sent

  • The amount of messages that Failed to send, if any

  • The amount of booking links Clicked on

  • Slot Type (the appointment slots from your Clinical System)

  • Appointment Type - either Face-to-face or Telephone

  • Booking Link Expiry

  • Whether the ability to decline the invitation was given

  • Message Body

To export this data as a CSV file, click the Export button

To view more information for each message sent, click on the View Detail button to bring up the Individual Message View

Individual Message View

Once you have clicked the View Detail button, the selected message is highlighted in green at the top of the section. Below this, the message by message data is displayed in ascending telephone number order

The following data will be displayed for each message:

  • Delivery Status: either Successful or Failed

  • Link Accessed: whether the recipient clicked on the link or not

  • Declined: whether the patient declined the invitation (if applicable)

  • DoB Validation: whether the patient successfully validated their DoB or not

  • Appointment Booked: whether the patient booked an appointment or not

  • Appointment Booked Date: the date the appointment booking was made

  • Appointment Details: the Date and Time of the appointment

  • Appointment Cancelled: whether the patient cancelled their appointment

  • Appointment Cancelled Date: when this appointment was cancelled (if applicable)
