The following guide will take you through how to install and set up the NavBar for SystmOne
Before you start
When getting started, a SystmOne administrator must be the first User at your site to follow the installation process to approve the integration with the clinical system
The NavBar will need to connect itself (associate) to your SystmOne profile before you can use it. In order to this, you will need to login beforehand and keep it open in the background during the setup process
Step 1 - Download the NavBar installer
You will have been provided with a download link for the NavBar installer - click on this to get started
If the installer doesn't open straight away, you can double-click on the Phonebar install file instead
The NavBar Setup window will display
Click on the CLICK HERE TO GET STARTED button
This will open up the SSO Log in in a new browser tab
Step 2 - Log into the Surgery Connect SSO
Enter your email address and password to log into the SSO
If you are logging in for the first time you will need to enter your email address and click the Forgot your Password? button. Once this has been done, you will receive a link via email to set your password
Once you have successfully logged in you will see an authentication notice confirming your Surgery Connect profile. Once you see this, you can continue with the setup
Step 3 - Follow the on screen set up instructions
Click back onto the NavBar setup while it continues to verify your details
Once your identity has been confirmed, the following welcome screen will display
If you are happy that is has authenticated you correctly click NEXT
Select SystmOne as your integration option
You will need to confirm that you have SystmOne open in the background by clicking the tick box in the NOTE
Once both have been selected, click NEXT
You will then need to confirm your Device Approval in SystmOne. Navigate back to SystmOne, where you should see the below popup
Click Approve
SystmOne will then ask you to name the device. This pulls through with a default name, but you can change this name if you wish
Click OK
When doing this for the first time you will then be asked to associate your Surgery Connect User with your SystmOne User. If you are happy with this, click ASSOCIATE
The Associate button will turn into a green tick confirming the association
Click NEXT
You will then be notified of Setup success
Click FINISH
This will then launch the NavBar

or select Later to update either when the application is closed, or when SystmOne is locked
Please note: clicking Restart will only restart the NavBar, not your whole PC
