The Surgery Profile is a local knowledge base unique to your surgery that will feed into your Digital Assistant alongside our Resource Library
Using auto-fill you can manage your General Information, Clinical Services and Administration details to ensure patients receive the most relevant information relating to their practice
How to Access
The Surgery Profile is in the Service Delivery Console, you can access the Service Delivery Console via the SSO or via the Phonebar by selecting your initials - Consoles - Service Delivery Console
From the Service Delivery Console, select the 'Manage advanced settings' button in Advanced tile
Navigate to the Surgery Assist tile and click 'Manage Surgery Assist'
Select the 'Manage Surgery Profile' button on the Surgery Profile tile

From here you can configure your Surgery Profile for your Digital Assistant
Setting Up Your Surgery Profile
Enter your website URL and click Auto-fill Surgery Profile to automatically populate the text boxes with your surgery information
Note: Use the auto-fill first and then go back and make changes. The auto-fill will override any current text in the box, unless it cannot find that information then it will leave it in its current state
For some information boxes we will let you know if there is already a national resource for this information, these textboxes will be optional for you to add additional routes or specific surgery information
Remember to save any changes you make in the top right hand corner, all changes will be automatically reflected once saved without needing to update the code
Coming Soon - If you have more than one site you can configure multi-site option by selecting the link below Site Name, this is detailed further down in the guide under Features
General Information
This tab details your general surgery information surgery name, address, country, website URL, phone number, email, patient registration form, surgery opening times, parking and accessibility
The Country is automated as this will pull through the relevant national signposting for your surgery e.g. NHS England, NHS Wales, Scottish Health boards or Northern Ireland
Clinical Services
This tab is for your clinical services information including appointment information, online consultation forms, repeat prescription services, test result services, sick note and referral process
Administration
These are all optional details; surgery catchment information, patient feedback and complaints, surgery policies, post conversation feedback and patient participation group
Features
This page enables you to toggle features on/off within your Digital Assistant and configure multi-site options

This enables you to create multiple site options on the same Digital Assistant. Have one single, unified Digital Assistant to manage multiple of your practice locations with different information
Input your site name, ODS, location, address, email, online forms, opening times and parking and accessibility information. The patient will receive information relating to their specific practice, select the +add site tab to add further sites
Coming Soon - For Hub sites where you manage multiple independent surgeries with their own ODS codes, you can create multiple Digital Assistants
Guardrails
This tab shows you the how the AI will respond to any fallback request it does not understand and also how it will respond to any red flag/emergency messages. It has strict preventative measures in place to keep patients safe
Surgery Assist is limited to signposting and administrative navigation only; it does not provide medical advice, interpret symptoms, triage emergencies, or replace clinical judgement
These responses cannot be edited, for non emergency information it will pull through your surgery's opening hours and phone number

Configuration
This section contains the iframe/inline code to embed the Digital Assistant directly into your website
It also displays the URL to add into your call flow or use as a stand alone feature
