How to Save Surgery Assist to Your Home Screen

A step by step guide on how to add your Digital Assistant to your mobile home screen

Patients can add your Digital Assistant to their mobile home screen (like an app) to create a familiar and convenient experience

For iPhone and iPad (Using Safari iOS 27)

  1. Open the Safari browser and navigate to your Digital Assistant URL or scan the QR code in your practice

  2. Tap the three lines at the bottom of the screen and click the share icon

  3. Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen

  4. You will see your Digital Assistant icon and the web address. Choose to name it your Surgery Name or change to your Digital Assistant name

  5. Tap Add in the top right corner

  6. The icon will now appear on your home screen. Tap it anytime to launch your Digital Assistant

For iPhone and iPad (Using Safari iOS 26)

  1. Open the Safari browser and navigate to your Digital Assistant URL

  2. Select the three dots at the bottom of the screen and click the share icon

  3. Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen

  4. You will see your Digital Assistant icon and the web address. Choose to name it your Surgery Name or change to your Digital Assistant name

  5. Tap Add in the top right corner

  6. The icon will now appear on your home screen. Tap it anytime to launch your Digital Assistant

For Android Devices (Using Google Chrome)

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser and navigate to the Surgery Assist chatbot link.

  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top right corner (the three vertical dots).

  3. Tap Add to Home screen from the drop-down menu.

  4. You will see your Digital Assistant icon and the web address. Choose to name it your Surgery Name or change to your Digital Assistant name

  5. Tap Add to Home screen again or drag the icon to your desired location

  6. The icon will now appear on your home screen. Tap it anytime to launch your Digital Assistant
