How do I send an SMS?
You can send SMS messages using a template directly from your Clinical System. Templates need to be created by a supervisor. Please see our SMS Templates guide in the Configuration Console.
You can also send ad-hoc messages, either through the User Console or through the Patient Overview Window.
Step by step guide
To open the SMS sending window for the active patient
you can click on the SMS button from the Patient Overview Window
or,
With the patient record open in your clinical system use the keyboard shortcut | Ctrl + Shift + S |
If you have templates and wish to use one, you can select it from the drop down menu
You can inset details on NHS conditions
or,
you can type an ad-hoc message in the SMS preview box |
