Discover how to use X-flow to set up and emergency bypass call flow.

Accessing X-flow

  1. Log in to Surgery Connect - sso.x-onweb.com - with your NHS email address and Surgery Connect password

  2. To manage or edit existing call flows, navigate to the X-flow Console

  3. To create a new call flow or to edit an existing call flow, navigate to the Service Delivery Console

  4. Don't forget - if you are already logged into a Surgery Connect console, you can navigate to any other console quickly by using the Menu, next to your initials

  5. Or; Click on the arrow in your toolbar to see the hidden icons

    Right click on the Surgery Connect Logo and select Launch Consoles. This will open up the selected console in a new window for you


Adding a new call flow

  1. Select the + Add New Call Flow button

  2. You will be asked to choose the number you want to use for the call flow, the name of your call flow, and if you want to use a template

  3. To create and empty/completely editable call flow, complete the Name Field and Choose the Empty Call Flow Template

  4. Save the Call Flow

    You will see a green Success message at the top of your screen when your new call flow has been created

    A red Failed message will show if there is something that has not been entered correctly


Loading your New Call Flow

You new call flow will now be in the Numbers table

  1. Search by the name you saved your new call flow as

  2. Once you have found the correct Call Flow you can edit it through Options

  3. Your new Empty Call Flow will open up in X-flow, ready for you to create/edit

Call flow Icons

  1. Drag and drop an icon onto the workspace

  2. Double click on the block in the workspace to open up the editable block properties

Templates can be used to set up a call flow with standard messages and with various combinations of calendars, menus and groups

Group Queue Priority

  1. Log in to Surgery Connect - sso.x-onweb.com - with your NHS email address and Surgery Connect password

  2. Select the Configuration Console

  3. Select the Groups from the menu on the left hand side

  4. Use the search box to find the Group you want to amend

  5. Click the pen icon on the required Group to edit the settings

  6. On the General tab, you can change the Queue Priority calls though this Group

  7. Select the Queue Priority drop down box, and choose your setting

  8. Click Save
