External Transfer

External Transfer can be used to connect callers to a third party number if calls are to be diverted in certain situations, for example to an out of hours call service

Note: You will need to contact our Support Team to have the external number set up, but calls can then be automatically connected to the external number without the need for the caller to redial

Step by step guide

Adding an External Transfer Block

  1. Drag and drop the External Transfer icon onto the X-flow workspace

  2. Select the required number to divert the calls to from the pop up, Click Add to save the changes

  3. There are no options available to customise for External Transfer blocks

Save and Deploy

As there are no customisable option with your External Transfer block you will not need to save it, however you will need to deploy your call flow when you have competed those changes

  1. At the top of your call flow you will now see the undeployed version warning

  2. If you are happy - Deploy your call flow to make it live
