How it works
You can manage all of your numbers. Each external (inbound) number will need an associated call flow
Inbound numbers are used for your main lines into the Surgery, Direct Dial numbers or group numbers
The short dial numbers for are internal use and are to be added to specific users or groups
Numbers Overview
When you access the list of Numbers you will see this table:
CLI Management
The CLI Management button controls what numbers can be used by all users across a service
When you click on the CLI Management button it will open the Global CLI Management Window
The people icon next to the number(s) indicates that the number is visible on the dialler
Click to add numbers to the service
Click to remove the number so it is not visible and cannot be chosen
Your main number should automatically be set as the CLI unless you choose to withhold your number as a default
See our Guide on CLI Selection from the Phonebar here.
Add new Call Flow
Here you can Add New Call Flow, Search your number by name, filter your numbers and get quick access to the call flow assigned to that number, to make call flow changes
At the top left of the table, you will see a notification telling you how many call flows have been created and how many of your external numbers have been 'set up' (assigned to a call flow and made live)
To the right hand side of the table you will see the Add New Call Flow Button. Click this to create a new call flow for one of your unassigned numbers
Use the Search bar to look for a specific number
Numbers Table
The number is listed in the first column
The number type is displayed in the second column
Call Flow Names are shown in the third column
You can Edit or Delete the call flow via the Options in the fourth column
You can click on each column title to sort (number order or alphabetically)
Number Type
You can filter your number list by call type, by one or more filters
You are able to filter by the following number types:
Live - External (inbound) numbers that are live and connected to a call flow
Live Short Dial - Internal short dial numbers that are assigned to a User
Test - Used to test any changes made to a call flow before deployment
Unassigned Number - External numbers which have no call flow assigned to them
Unassigned Call Flow - Call flows that have been created in X-flow, but have no number assigned to them
Fax Numbers
CLI Visible - Numbers with a filterable CLI field
If you want to test Check and Cancel you can filter unassigned numbers and use a spare number with the dedicated Check & Cancel call flow to test the feature before adding it to your main call flow. This is ideal as Check and Cancel must be live, it will not work on a test number, unlike other features.
