👋 Surgery Assist Lite - Dali

Meet Dali, our new ready-to-deploy Digital Assistant built around the questions patients ask every day

Sitting on your website, and integrated into your call flow, Dali is designed to streamline patient access to healthcare services and reduce administrative workload for medical practices

Dali acts as a 24/7 care navigation assistant, helping patients with tasks like requesting appointments, signposting to national services, NHS App support and more, all without requiring direct staff intervention

🛠️ Minor Bug Fix

03/08/2026

We have deployed updates to Digital Assistant to resolve some minor bugs

April 2026

🌏Multilingual Support

Introducing Language Translation within your Digital Assistant, this free feature supports equitable access by enabling patients to translate in over 100 languages

Surgery Assist now integrates directly with your web browser and will dynamically translate all deterministic pathways on mobile and desktop using the patients built-in translation tools, no extra software is required

Please note - Translation is currently restricted to deterministic flows (signposting, menu options). Dynamic AI translation is coming in the near future

⏳Surgery Assist Call Queue Widget

You can now implement Call Queue Widgets into your Digital Assistant. Choose to display live the number of Callers in Queue or the Current Longest Wait and provide an extra layer of transparency to your patients

Configure the widget in the Website Widgets tab, under the Advanced section of the Service Delivery Console. Once you are happy with the configuration, save the changes, copy the generated code and send it to our Surgery Assist Build Team [email protected]

Any configuration changes after the code has been implemented will automatically update. If you delete the Widget in the Service Delivery Console it will also delete in your Digital Assistant

🖼️Configurable Background Image

You can now personalise the background of your non-embedded Digital Assistant (URL-based). By uploading a custom image such as your surgery’s logo or your digital assistant, you can create a more familiar and trusted environment for your patients

Send your desired image to our Surgery Assist Build Team [email protected]
