The Patient Experience

Website Access

Your digital assistant will sit on the bottom right hand corner of your webpage

If a patient would like to speak to your digital assistant they can click on the icon where they will be presented with a chat box

For any queries that can be resolved online the patient will be signposted to the appropriate resource e.g. the NHS app or Online Consultation tool therefore, reducing call volumes into the surgery

If patients do not have the NHS app installed, they will be guided step by step to download and set up their account

Using the accessibility tab in the top right hand corner, patients can adjust accessibility features of the bot such as text size, background colour, grayscale, contract etc

Call flow Access

By implementing Surgery Assist into your call flow you can add an extra layer of protection

When patients call in and reach your main menu, if they select an option where they can self serve e.g. checking and cancelling appointments, prescriptions, test results etc. they can be sent an SMS to self serve via your Digital Assistant
