How do I add multiple Users in one go?
Users can be added individually or in bulk uploads, through the Service Delivery Console. Bulk uploads are often used when you are building your Surgery Connect System.
Step by step guides
Download CSV file template
Navigate to the User list in the Service Delivery Console
You can download a CSV file template to add multiple users at once. Access the Introduction to Users page (The Introduction to Users page will be displayed the first time you access the User list.)
Scroll down the page to see the Adding New Users options
Click Download CSV template
This will download a file onto your PC which can be opened in any spreadsheet program. You can also use .xls and .xlsx file formats, make sure the columns have the same names and are in the same order as on the template before uploading
Complete your User List and save ready for uploading
Upload CSV file via Introduction to Users page
Click Manage Users at the bottom of the page
This will take you to the User tab of the Service Delivery Console
Click the Import Users button
There is a template available for you to download here as well. (Click on the blue here button if you need it)
Choose your saved file from your PC
Click Import Users
Surgery Connect will now upload the User details into the User table. When complete, you will see a confirmation screen
Select the bars to see the details
Any errors will be described so that they can be corrected. You can correct the template or spreadsheet and upload again, or add the Users individually, changing the required field to correct the error
Once uploaded, User details can be changed by using the Edit button. For full details on editing User details please see our guide.
