Adding a personal number to a User Profile

Supervisors can add additional number/s to a User Profile, so different devices can be used, for example a mobile number.

How do I add a personal number to change call devices?

You can add personal numbers to a User’s profile so that calls can be presented on that device automatically. This is most widely used by Clinicians who like to use their mobile phones to receive calls when they are out of the surgery.

The required numbers can be added for each User in the Configuration Console.

Step by step guide

Navigate to the Configuration Console

Select Users from the menu on the left hand side

You can use the search box to find the User you want to amend

Click the pen icon on the required User to view and edit the profile

This will open up all of the standard configurations you can change for that specific user

Select the Numbers tab

Enter the personal number/s in the relevant field

Click Save

The number will now show on the User Console in their User Profile to use the device to make and receive calls through Surgery Connect

Work numbers and Temp softphone will appear automatically when activated
