How do I prioritise a Group Member?

When a Group is created, everyone in the group will have the same priory as default (none). This means that the Group calls will be distributed by the Call Distribution settings (default = Longest Idle).

You can prioritise Users individually. You may want a particular Group member to be offered more of the calls first, for this you would use top-down or compound call distribution.

Step by step guide

Navigate to the Configuration Console

Select the Groups from the menu on the left hand side

You can use the search box to find the Group you want to amend

Click the pen icon on the required Group to edit the settings

Click on the Members Tab

You will see two lists

Members will show you who you have in the Group

Choose the User you would like to change the Priority of and open the drop down

Choose the Priority (1 - 119)

Each User will need a different priority number, unless you are using compound call distribution

Click Save
