User Status in the User Console

The User Status is visible via the internal directory in the User Console, so that everyone can see who is available to take calls

How do I change my User Status?

Your User Status is visible via the internal directory. Each status has a different colour, so that anyone logged in (and Surgery Connect itself), can see if you are available to take calls

Depending on your settings when you login to Surgery Connect, you will automatically be made available for calls or logged out

You can also change your status to Do Not Disturb, Direct Call Only and Outbound Calls, through your User Profile

Green - Available

Red - Do Not Disturb

Orange - Direct Calls Only / Tasks

Purple - Outbound Calls Only

Light Grey - Logged Out (Not Available)

You can change your status to Do Not Disturb through your desk phone, or change to any status through your User Profile.


Step by step guide

Click on the User Attributes icon to open the Attributes Window

The User Status tab allows you to make changes to your status

Your current status will have a blue tick displayed next to it. To change your status, click the box - the tick will then be displayed next to it, and the User Icon at the top will change colour to reflect this change
