What is a Permission Level?

Surgery Connect has several permission levels, which can be changed by a Supervisor. Each permission allow different access to Surgery Connect and will affect what a user can or can't do

Standard User with Group Management

Allows the user to see their own calls on the User Console and gives the user the ability to change which group they are active in from the User Console. See our guides on the User Console and User Group Management guide

Please Note: All Standard Users can access Call Recordings from Patient Contact History as default. Access to Call recordings, Patient Photos and ability to send Chargeable SMS from the Surgery Connect system can be restricted. For more information, see our Editing Users Guide here

Clinician

Same as a Standard user with Group management, but a clinician will also be able to view and listen to all call recordings of all users through the User Console

Supervisor

This permission is given to Managers or staff who need access to all the consoles and it also gives the user the ability to make changes on these consoles

A Supervisor will also be able to view and listen to all call recordings of all users through the User Console

Supervisors can change a Users permission level though the Service Delivery Console. See our Service Delivery Console - User Guides
